Il Museo è collocato in un suggestivo palazzo storico del 1600, completamente restaurato, posto tra Bologna e Pistoia, immerso nel verde. Questa struttura, oltre ad una ricca collezione permanente, offre una serie di eventi culturali e mostre che saranno organizzate all’interno del Museo, ma anche in altre sedi.
Ogni visita sarà una vera sorpresa, anche perché è personalizzata. Infatti Morena ed Ernesto Vi accompagneranno all’interno di questa foresta di simboli, tutta da scoprire… e per questo motivo ricordate che occorre la prenotazione.

The Museum is set in an enchanting historical building of 1600, completely restored, situated between Bologna and Pistoia, among the woods.
This building, apart from being a rich permanent collection, offers a series of cultural events and exhibitions which will be organized not only inside the Museum, but also in the other centres.
Each visit will be a real surprise, also because it is personalized. In fact, Morena and Ernesto will accompany you inside this forest of symbols, all to discover….and for this reason please remember that reservation is needed.

X The Wheel of Fortune

Around the World in 80 Days

Traditional meanings for this card are: fate, destiny, luck, cycles, taking a chance and going with the flow. The literary work I chose to represent this card is "Around the World in Eighty Days" by Jules Verne. This story is fitting because this journey is undertaken as a result of a wager and so begins a fantastic adventure that spans the globe. Our travelers, Phileas Fogg and his faithful valet Passepartout, use many different forms of transportation on their race around the world. They have many ups and downs along the way but somehow seem to triumph over every obstacle that is put in their path. In the end they think all is lost but discover that they have indeed traversed the globe in the allotted time frame and as an added bonus Mr. Phileas Fogg has also won the love of Aouda, the beautiful Princess he rescued in India.
Notes on the card: in the background I have included compasses, a sexton, ship wheel, a passport and an image of the world. In the foreground is our hero Mr. Phileas Fogg after completing his fantastic journey. I wanted to keep to the theme of the wheel with circular images. I also wanted to include a figure on my card.

Jean Hutter is a mixed-media artist living in NJ with her husband Richard and her four cats. She tries to do something art-related each day which could include painting, digital art, collage or making wire and beaded jewelry.
